Feed the animals through your vehicle windows and be prepared to stop for them as they stroll across your path or even lie down. In the Safari, you'll be able to see animals run and frolic with abandon on our 180-acre property. The drive-through safari takes approximately one to one-and-one-half hours to drive through. The Virginia Safari Park opened in the spring of 2000 because we felt there was a need and desire for people to be able to see wild animals in a much more natural environment than had previously been available.
